Condolence From: Dawn Forgerson

Condolence: Dear Whisten Family,
I am so sorry to hear about your loss of dear Val. She was my secretary for many years at Marlboro HS. She had a special gift of intuition. When Val said, "Dawn, how soon can you see this student?" My response was "I need 5 more minutes with this phone call. Is that ok? Val would say ok or she'd say, two minutes would be better. I always listened to her because she knew if a student was in crisis. Later, after the crisis was handled, I always thanked her and said, "Keep up the good work," which she did.
