Condolence From: Julia Pecorino
Condolence: It’s not often one can say” I remember the day I first met him,”. I can say that about Pete. He made an impact on everyone he met and always told it like it was. He was a good man and helped Joe and me out on more than one occasion. I will always remember a Pete with a smile.

Condolence: Peter was a friend from Greer. I have his book and always enjoyed talking with him at reunions. He was dearly missed at this year as we found out that his health was failing. He lived a good and meaningful life. Sympathy sent for his family~

Condolence: It's not often you know someone who you think you should record all your conversations with, to think about and laugh about later. Pete was that kind of man. Whenever I would see him, I would have an exchange with him that was funny, thoughtful, politically charged and unexpectedly loving. Luckily, I can continue to have the same kind of conversations with Pete's son who became the same sort of fascinating man and married my best friend. Pete - thank you for loving Alyssa, and for fighting like h*** these last couple years so your grandchildren could know your face and enjoy a few of those great conversations. You have been, and will always be, an inspiration to those of us who think about cancer everyday. I am grateful to have known you.

Condolence: It was an honor and privilege to have Pete as a neighbor; one who always waved, stopped to ask how the family was doing and never failed to share an embellishing story about his last hunt. <><

Condolence: Pete was a good man . I remember him warning my 1980 academy class that terrorism was coming to our shores. I wish our country's leaders had the insight and knowledge he had. My deepest sympathy to his family.
