Loving Family

I remember moving into my second apartment as a young woman. What impressed me immediately was the comings and goings of my next door neighbors, The Capellis.. Both Mr. and Mrs. Capelli. their sons and the grandparents were always outside on the "stoop" or readily available. Marie Capelli obviously raised very loving children. They were all friendly and sociable.

One particular Christmas Eve, I returned from my parents' home in Marine Park. Our traditions were more focused on Christmas Day, so I returned early. I remember approaching my front door, when I was invited inside to join the Capelli eve celebration. I remember the closeness of the family and the kindness they showed me.

I will always remember this warm and loving family. May God give them comfort at this difficult time.
